School Establishment:

Didsbury Mosque Quran School was established in 1998 by Sheikh Salem Alogali (Sheikh Ayoub) – may Allah preserve him. It began its educational journey modestly with only five students. By the grace of Allah Almighty and through blessed efforts, the school has now grown to accommodate over four hundred male and female students, taught by an outstanding educational staff consisting of twenty-five teachers, in addition to the esteemed principal and two secretarial staff. By Allah’s grace, the school has graduated numerous memorizers of the Noble Quran who serve as a source of pride for the community.

Curriculum:

The school focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of the Arabic language to enable them to read the Holy Quran while mastering the rules of Tajweed (Quranic recitation), along with memorization. It also emphasizes understanding the benevolent teachings of Islam and instilling moral and jurisprudential values in young hearts.

Classes and Schedule:

The school’s study program is divided into three groups:

Evening School: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Saturday School: Saturdays, from 9:10 AM to 1:10 PM

Sunday School: Sundays, from 9:10 AM to 1:10 PM

Teaching Staff:

All members of our teaching staff are fully qualified and have undergone enhanced DBS checks. Additionally, several of our teachers hold Ijazah certification.

Facilities:

The school building contains ten well-equipped classrooms, in addition to utilizing the facilities of the adjacent mosque for educational activities and events.

Tuition Fees:

The annual tuition fee for the academic year 2025-2026 is three hundred and sixty British pounds, payable in three instalments throughout the year.

The Registration Process:

Parents are required to fill in an online form to register their child onto the school. This will place your child onto a waiting list. Your child will then be invited to attend an assessment in the school. This will assess their Qur’an reading ability. Based on the assessment and your child’s age, a class level will be decided. Then, based on the class size, a place will be allocated if there’s a space in the school.

Parent Portal:

The Parent Portal is a platform for parents to view and access their child’s school homework, progress, fee payments, and any newsletters from the school. It also serves as a platform to contact the teachers.

Conclusion:

Al-Quran Al-Kareem School strives to cultivate love for Allah’s Book in young hearts and prepare a Quranic generation that understands and adheres to the benevolent values of Islam. We welcome you to join this blessed journey, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless these efforts and make them purely for His Noble Countenance.
