The Manchester Shariah Council (MSC) is a service based at Didsbury Mosque that provides Islamic guidance and services to the Muslim community in accordance with UK law. Its primary purpose is to help Muslims practice and preserve their faith by addressing modern challenges.

The MSC frames this work as a religious obligation, necessary to combat religious ignorance and provide authoritative services and answers to the community’s questions.
